So midterms are over...for the most part.
In my Maya class(Modeling, Materials, and Lighting) we had two assignments due. One assignment was a mailbox and one High Resolution model of whatever we wanted. Both had to have the UVs laid out and textured.

If my high res looks familiar it's because it's an updated version of my old clay model from 3D design. I wanted more of a Portal-bot look, but still ended up with kind of a clay look. I've learned a lot about Maya over the past 5 weeks just by playing around with the program. Although technical art isn't really what I want to do, I think I'm really starting to understand Maya pretty well. In my fundamentals of game design class we've already finished one board game and we've started our second. More info on that when the quarter is over. I'll try to put up a new post in about a week or two.
