You know that one game with the blocks falling and stuff

Materials: Acrylic Paint, Black Sharpie
Dimensions: 14 x 12 inches

I haven't had a post in awhile, but I'm back at SCAD. This is my first project from Color Theory, we had to incorporate the color wheel into some kind of design 2D or 3D. It was a pretty open project and we could practically use any medium we wanted. I decided to go with acrylic paint because I've never really taken the time to learn to mix paint, I've basically used any color straight from the tube. I learned alot in terms of color mixing from this project, more than just discovering what colors are needed to create another. Mixing paint can feel like a tedious process especially if you're trying to get a certain color just right. Mixing takes patience and self control, sometimes I found myself gettting frustrated then adding a copious amount of one color and throwing off the color completely. There are still some colors that are slightly off (like red-orange), but it's a start. Also some colors are hard to differentiate (red orange...again and blue-violet) from others. Through out the course I hope to increase my painting skills if you can call them skills.
